Description

Leonor Fini is one of the most extraordinary artists of the 20th century. She was an independent, passionate and self-taught woman who drew on many influences, including the Flemish masters, symbolism and surrealism. Leonor felt an instinctive hostility to belonging to any artistic group or movement, and shared with his vanguard circle a fervent belief in the power of the desire for social and political subversion.
