Galerie Minsky

Minsky Gallery, inaugurated in 1998, represents and manages the estate of the artist Leonor Fini by participating in museum events or through other galleries, in France and abroad, by lending and/or helping for the organization as for the Venice Biennale 2022, Frieze Master 2022 in London with the Love&Co Gallery, Kasmin Gallery 2023 in New York, or between 2022 and 2023 The Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice and the Barberini Museum, Potsdam in Germany. Minsky Gallery also represents the estate of Henri-Jean Closon and Patrick Rimoux of whom we presented a solo show at Art Paris in 2021. The operation of the gallery is unique since it is based on cooperation with other galleries to lend and mount Leonor Fini exhibitions with them, but also by trying to bring together the works of Leonor Fini through our collectors for museum exhibitions.

Before Minsky Gallery, Arlette Souhami was at the origin of Dionne Gallery during the 1990s and notably exhibited Julio le Parc, Eduardo Arroyo and Leonor Fini for which Arlette Souhami mounted her first retrospective exhibition in France at the Luxembourg Museum in 1986. For More than 40 years, Arlette Souhami, through Dionne Gallery and Minsky Gallery, has devoted herself to the production of museum exhibitions of Leonor Fini as in Japan in 2005 in four museums (Bunkamura Museum of Art, Tokyo ; Daimura Museum, Umeda ; The Museum of Modern Art, Gunma ; Nagoya City Art Museum, Nagoya), in Trieste at the Revoltella Museum in 2009, or in Sweden in Umea at the Bildmuseet Universitet in 2014 (selection). We have worked for more than twenty years in close collaboration with the Weinstein Gallery in San Francisco to realize exhibitions of Leonor Fini.
